How to Learn Faster Than Anyone Else (The Unfair Method)

Two-thirds of you think you are stupid. The other third think you are smart. Both of you are wrong.

Intelligence is not a noun. It is a verb. It is a Rate.

Learning = Same Condition, New Behavior.

Scenario A: I knock on your door. You say "Hi." I slap you.
Scenario B: I knock on your door. You say "Hi." I slap you.
Scenario C: I knock on your door. You duck.

That is learning.

The number of iterations it takes to change your behavior is your actual operational ceiling. Reduce the number of slaps required to duck.

If it takes you 10 iterations to learn what a "smart" person learns in 2, you can still beat them by compressing time.

• The Smart Person: Does 1 iteration per week. (10 weeks = 10 iterations).
• The Wolf: Does 10 iterations per day. (1 day = 10 iterations).

Intelligence is just Iterations / Time.

Brute force is a valid strategy if your clock speed is high enough. If I iterate 100 times while you sleep, I will wake up smarter than you. That is the Unfair Advantage.

"I want to get good at Business." No. "Business" is a bucket. You must chop the bucket into atoms.

A skill is a Chain of Adaptive Behaviors.

Business Atoms:

• Cold Emailing (Skill)
• Writing SQL (Skill)
• Hiring Engineers (Skill)
• Firing Engineers (Skill)

If you stare at the bucket, you will freeze. If you stare at the atom, you can crush it.

Stop obsessing over Why. Do not try to explain the machine. Just read the Inputs and the Outputs.

• Input: I sent this email.
• Output: $10,000.
• Input: I sent that email.
• Output: $0.

Treat the world like a Black Box. You are a scientist. You poke the box. If it gives you money, poke it again. If it shocks you, stop poking it. Theoretical obsession is just procrastination disguised as intelligence.

Most "Naturals" are just excellent thieves. They copied the inputs to get the desired outputs.

The Algorithm:

1. Find the Top 10% in your field.
2. Ignore what they say (Advice is usually retrospective hallucination).
3. Watch what they do.
4. Copy their inputs pixel-for-pixel.
5. Measure your outputs.

If you invoke the same inputs in the same conditions, you will get the same outputs. That is physics.

If you do not track, you do not care. You must measure the distance between your result and the master's result.

Isolate the variable. Did they use a different subject line? 9 AM instead of 6 PM? Plain text instead of HTML? Change one thing. Re-run the simulation. This is the grind. It is data entry. But this is how you become a God.

There is no magic. There is only Volume and Refinement.

Repetition is the father of skill.

If you want to learn faster than anyone else, stop trying to be smart. Start being active. Fail fast. Fail often. Measure the failure. Adjust the input. Try again.
